Job Description:

The Issuing & Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing the flow of materials, supplies, and equipment in and out of the mine. This includes receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing goods, as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory levels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems or manual logs.
  • Organize and store materials, supplies, and equipment in designated storage areas.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and participate in periodic stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels regularly and initiate purchase requisitions to replenish stock as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Previous experience as an Issuing & Receiving Clerk or similar role.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Proficient in computerized inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
